To understand Greece, we must know its islands. They are more than 3000 and really unique and beautiful. The islanders are an important part of the Greek population. Each island has its history and its own characteristics but we always find an intense religious activity.

During this trip you will visit several islands in the Cyclades, and you will have the opportunity to know the life of Catholic communities in the Orthodox population.

Day 1 (Athens)

Arrival at Athens airport, reception and transfer. Dinner and overnight stay in Athens.

Day 2 (Athens – Tinos)

After breakfast, the day will be devoted to a visit of Athens, its principal monuments (Acropolis, the Areopagus, the national museum) and the Orthodox Cathedral and the Byzantine monastery of Kaissariani.

Embarkation and sea crossing, arrival on the Cyclades island of Tinos. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 3 (Tinos)

After breakfast, we will visit the villages of Tinos, at least 40 villages from the Middle Ages.

You’ll discover the different Catholic communities and their lives in the Orthodox population. Back at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 (Tinos)

Breakfast, city tour of Tinos, its museums and the cathedral. Considered as the top gathering place in Greece for Orthodox pilgrims, the island hosts several thousands of Christians every year during the pilgrimage to the miraculous icon of the Annunciation of the Virgin, or to discover the many churches and chapels (Orthodox and Catholic), and the museum of religious art of the island.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 (Tinos – Delos – Mykonos – Tinos)

After breakfast, mini cruise on the islands of Delos the museum island and Mykonos. Visit the archaeological site of Delos, the sacred island of antiquity. Many said that St Paul visited there.
Embarkation for the island of Mykonos (many churches and monasteries).

Back to Tinos early evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 (Tinos – Paros)

Breakfast, Departure for the island of Paros. Visit the church to 100 doors, one of the oldest churches in Europe dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Archaeological Museum.
Dinner and overnight at the Hotel in Paros.

Day 7 (Paros – Athens)

Breakfast, visit Paros, boarding for Athens. Night and dinner in Athens.

Day 8

Breakfast, airport transfers and assistance.
